Partner Network

Turn a cited domain into a tracked relationship

Citations come from sites, and sites are run by people. Whaily lets you promote any domain your prompts already cite into a tracked relationship, with outreach and status history in one place.

The problem

A citation did not happen by accident, and neither will the next one.

Every domain in your sources table already has a relationship with your brand, even if nobody at your company has ever spoken to the person who runs it. Some of those relationships are worth deepening. Without a place to track who you have contacted, what you sent them, and what happened after, that work lives in someone's inbox and disappears when they change roles.

How it works

From sign-up to signal in minutes.

1

Promote a cited domain to a partner

Any domain on the Domains tab of Sources can become a partner in one click. It moves to the Partners tab, the third tab of the same section, with a workspace for that relationship, built for outreach and connected back to the citations and recommendations that domain already carries.

2

Track status, contacts and outreach

Each partner has a status, contact details, outreach templates you can start from, and a place for comments. Add reminders so a follow-up does not slip because someone is on holiday or changes roles.

3

Watch action items and activity against the relationship

Open action items tied to a partner and a running activity log sit on the same record, so anyone on the team can see what has been tried and what is still open, without asking around.

What you get

Everything you need, in one place.

Promote any source in one click

Every domain already in your sources table can be promoted to a partner. You work the list Whaily already built from your citations, not a new one from scratch.

A status for every relationship

Track where each partner stands, from first contact through to an active listing, so the team knows the stage of a relationship without a status meeting.

Outreach templates

Start outreach from a template instead of a blank email. Templates keep the first message consistent while contacts and notes stay specific to each partner.

Comments and contacts in one place

Contact details and comments live on the partner record, so the history of a relationship survives a change in who owns it.

Open action items, visible

Action items tied to a partner show up on their record, so you can see at a glance what work is still outstanding for a relationship.

An activity log per partner

Every status change, comment and reminder is logged against the partner, so a new teammate can read the history instead of asking for it.

The partner workspace

Every domain you are building a relationship with, its status, and how it connects to the citations that domain already carries.

The Sources section on its Partners tab: each partner site with its status, relevance and the outreach recorded against it.

Why it matters

Citations come from relationships with the sites AI reads.

A citation is not random. Somewhere behind every source in your table, an editor decided to include a link, a reviewer decided to list your product, or a moderator let a thread about your category stay up. Those are relationships, even when nobody at your company has met the person on the other end. Improving your citations means improving those relationships, not just publishing more content.

The partner network exists because a sources table on its own is a list, not a plan. Promoting a domain to a partner turns a row of data into a tracked relationship: a status, a contact, an outreach history, and the action items still open. The connection back to the sources table stays live, so the citations and recommendations that domain already carries for your brand and your competitors are visible right on the partner record.

None of this replaces the people doing the outreach. Whaily does not contact anyone on your behalf and does not sell listings. What it does is keep the whole relationship in one place, so the next person to pick up a partnership does not have to start by asking who talked to whom last time.

One partner, one page

Contacts, outreach templates, comments, open action items and the activity log for a single partner, together.

One partner: its sites and citation count, a contact, free notes, and a getting-started checklist for the outreach.

Questions

The short answers.

Does Whaily do the outreach for me?+
No. Whaily gives you the status tracking, templates, contacts and activity log. Your team, or your agency, sends the messages.
How do domains end up in the partner network?+
You promote them. Any domain already showing up in your sources table can be promoted to a partner in one click. You can also add a domain manually if you want to pursue a relationship with a site that has not cited you yet.
What can I track on a partner record?+
Status, contacts, outreach templates you can start from, comments, open action items and a running activity log, all on the one record for that partner.
Is this a marketplace of sites to buy listings from?+
No. Whaily does not resell listings or sponsorships. The partner network is your own outreach tracker, built on the domains your prompts already cite.
How does this relate to the Sources section?+
Sources has three tabs: Cited pages, Domains and Partners. Every domain gets a general workspace with notes, comments, activity and reminders as soon as it is cited. Promoting a domain to a partner moves it to the Partners tab and adds the outreach layer on top: status, templates and open action items for that relationship.
Can partner action items connect to the rest of my action plan?+
Yes. Action items tied to a partner sit on the Action plan board alongside your other action items, so partner outreach shows up in the same place as the rest of your team's work.
